Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Support Consultant to join our Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Power Platform team within our Managed Services practice based in Christchurch, New Zealand. This hands-on role requires ownership of complex customer issues related to Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform, focusing on delivering high-quality, proactive support and fostering strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of customer support requests from initial triage through resolution and closure, ensuring service excellence at every stage.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to Dynamics 365 CE, Dataverse, and associated Power Platform components.
- Support upgrades, releases, and ongoing maintenance of applications and platforms.
- Work independently to resolve issues, minimizing dependency on delivery teams.
- Communicate technical matters clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify recurring problems, risks, and opportunities for improving support processes to prevent future issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation of cases, including root cause analysis and resolution steps.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge sharing, and enhancement of service quality.
Candidate Profile
- Experienced in working with complex Dynamics 365 CE and Dataverse environments.
- Knowledgeable across Power Platform components, including Power Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Pages, and Power Automate.
- Hands-on development skills in .NET framework, C#, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services such as App Service, Function Apps, Logic Apps, and Service Bus.
- Additional skills in web technologies like HTML, CSS, and TypeScript/JavaScript are advantageous.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 or Power Platform are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities including troubleshooting, debugging, root cause analysis, and an understanding of leveraging AI-assisted diagnostic tools.
- Experience in managed services or application support roles with a customer-centric approach.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering superior customer outcomes.
