Role Overview
This entry-level role applies foundational knowledge of technical principles and concepts to assignments within defined scopes. The position requires using acquired skills from training and prior experience to develop practical business applications, provide team support, and exercise independent judgment within set limits.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve technical issues related to hardware and software reported by internal or external business units and end users via telephone and e-support channels.
- Respond to inquiries regarding services, product features, specifications, repairs, warranty, and customer entitlements for current and discontinued products and parts.
- Document case summaries and resolutions effectively both verbally and in writing, contributing knowledge to the Knowledge Management System.
- Offer proactive assistance to customers to prevent or reduce problem recurrence.
- Represent the company during on-site customer visits, industry events, trade shows, and vendor meetings.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for customers and internal stakeholders are met.
- Support sales pursuit teams as needed to align technical and business objectives.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Completion of post-secondary education (high school diploma, A-levels, Baccalaureate, or equivalent) prior to university study.
- Between 0 to 1 year of experience in relevant technologies and customer-facing environments.
- Relevant industry certifications where applicable.
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in the supported language(s).
- Technical troubleshooting expertise in hardware and software environments.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with computing, storage solutions, and peripheral devices.
- Proficient in case management tools and databases.
- Advanced customer service aptitude.
- Experience providing phone, remote, and electronic support.
Working Arrangement
This position operates on a hybrid basis, requiring approximately two days per week presence at an HPE office.
