Role Description
The Cloud Operations Suite at HPE is an AI-powered platform providing unified management and optimization for hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Leveraging solutions such as OpsRamp, Morpheus Enterprise, Morpheus VM Essentials, and Zerto, the suite enables IT teams to proactively address issues and enhance performance and resilience.
The Cloud Ops Software team's CSP/MSP presales function is pivotal in driving hybrid edge-to-cloud solutions for enterprise and managed service provider customers. As the SDN Presales Architect, you will leverage your technical expertise and partner management skills to design, deploy, and ensure the success of complex hybrid and multi-cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to lead technical sales processes through presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
- Architect and implement comprehensive hybrid cloud solutions in partnership with CSP/MSP collaborators.
- Serve as the technical liaison between HPE, partners, and customers to influence product development and deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Understand evolving IT Operations and cloud native markets to position solutions effectively.
- Engage in consultative selling by providing business and technical value propositions tailored to complex client environments.
- Lead technical proof of concepts and initial software deployments to validate solutions and ensure customer success.
Candidate Profile and Required Skills
- At least 10 years of experience in solution architecture with proven ability to design implementation architectures.
- Deep knowledge of container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Mesos.
- Strong expertise in enterprise networking including routing, switching, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS, network security, SDN, network virtualization, and network automation.
- Familiarity with cloud networking, hybrid infrastructure, software-defined networking overlays (VXLAN/EVPN), and network security concepts including Zero Trust and segmentation.
- Programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, PHP, JSON, NodeJS, and JavaScript.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and customer engagement abilities alongside consultative selling and whiteboarding expertise.
- Capability to manage complex technical environments as a trusted advisor.
- Understanding of AI-driven network operations, automation (AIOps), infrastructure management with AI/LLM, and IT Operations Management is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in networking and cloud technologies are a plus.

- Business acumen regarding sales cycles, pipeline management, and strategic alignment with customer business roles.

- Proficiency in partner programs, channel collaboration, and driving deal cycles through strategic alliances.
Work Setup and Commitment
This position is a hybrid role based in Singapore, requiring approximately two days per week onsite at an HPE office.
