Overview
We are hiring a Technical Records Specialist to join a leading aviation company located in Shannon, County Clare. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary tailored to experience. The successful candidate will be an essential contributor to maintaining and verifying the accuracy and compliance of aircraft technical documentation within a demanding aviation environment.
Key Duties
- Manage and maintain accurate aircraft technical records aligned with aviation regulations.
- Examine maintenance documentation ensuring completeness and correctness.
- Confirm proper recording and certification of maintenance activities.
- Update all aircraft records in the company’s maintenance tracking systems promptly.
- Ensure compliance with client, regulatory, and internal quality standards in records management.
- Facilitate aircraft transitions such as lease returns, acquisitions, and deliveries through thorough records review.
- Collaborate with maintenance providers, customers, and internal teams to address documentation questions.
- Support audits and provide assistance during regulatory and customer inspections.
- Organize and archive aircraft records in both digital and paper formats as appropriate.
- Identify improvements in record management processes and data quality enhancements.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in aircraft technical records management, aircraft maintenance administration, or continuing airworthiness.
- Solid knowledge of aircraft maintenance documentation and relevant regulatory standards (EASA Part-145, Part-M, Part-CAMO highly regarded).
- Familiarity with aircraft maintenance software or ERP systems is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail paired with strong organizational capabilities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines within a regulated industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within team settings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in aviation or technical disciplines.
- Experience supporting commercial aircraft maintenance programs.
- Knowledge of maintenance tracking platforms like AMOS, TRAX, Rusada ENVISION, or equivalent.
