About the Role

An exceptional position has opened for an experienced CSA Lead Supervisor to join the Construction Management Team for a major pharmaceutical facility project in Cork, valued at over 100 million. This pivotal onsite role involves directing all Civil, Structural, and Architectural activities, guaranteeing safe delivery, adherence to schedule, and superior quality standards.

You will collaborate closely with the Construction Management Team, oversee the main CSA contractor, and coordinate efforts with Mechanical & Electrical contractors as well as various project stakeholders throughout the duration of the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all Civil, Structural, and Architectural site works.
  • Evaluate contractor performance to maintain compliance with project specifications, quality benchmarks, and timeline demands.
  • Manage coordination and interfaces among CSA, M&E, and other construction disciplines.
  • Perform site inspections, track progress, and detect potential challenges ahead of time.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and project protocols.
  • Review method statements, work packages, and inspection documentation as needed.
  • Assist with quality inspections, snagging, and project completion handover.
  • Participate in site meetings and provide consistent updates on project progress to the broader team.
  • Collaborate effectively with contractors, consultants, and client representatives to meet project objectives.

Candidate Requirements

  • A degree or trade certification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing CSA supervision on large construction projects.
  • Experience within pharmaceutical, life sciences, semiconductor, data centre, or other highly regulated sectors is strongly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction sequences, quality control, and site coordination techniques.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Capability to operate successfully within a multidisciplinary project team environment.
