Technical Project Manager (BUSY Bar)

Overview

This opportunity involves a Technical Project Manager role for a smart productivity hardware product based in Saudi Arabia. The position entails working closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, design, and operations to translate ideas and requirements into executable plans. The role emphasizes Agile project management, coordination across multiple workstreams, operational follow-through, and managing diverse stakeholders in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and organize sprint activities including task breakdown, prioritization, and monitoring of progress.
• Convert product requirements and decisions into clear tasks for engineering and design teams.
• Monitor deadlines, dependencies, blockers, risks, and ensure clear communication among participants.
• Maintain up-to-date project backlogs, roadmaps, documentation, and task status tracking.
• Record product and technical decisions, meeting outcomes, and agreed next steps thoroughly.
• Coordinate delivery efforts across product, engineering, design, and operational teams.
• Facilitate regular team meetings and ensure decisions lead to timely execution.
• Evaluate impact of requirement changes on project scope, timelines, and delivery.
• Manage operational aspects involving vendors, contractors, legal, finance, and external stakeholders.
• Identify potential risks proactively and escalate issues that could affect timelines, quality, or final product outcomes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum three years’ experience as a Technical Project Manager, Delivery Manager, Project Manager, or Product Operations Manager in a technology product company.
• Direct experience working within product or engineering organizations rather than agency or purely administrative environments.
• Demonstrated experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and sprint execution.
• Proven ability to manage projects from inception through release.
• Strong skills in writing requirements, user scenarios, acceptance criteria, and defining development or design tasks.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams, dependencies, and external partnerships.
• Background in collaborating with vendors, contractors, and operational teams.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, testing, and release.
• Basic knowledge of interactions between hardware, firmware, mobile, and backend components.
• Aptitude for structuring complex or loosely defined problems into manageable and actionable tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, confident leading meetings and driving decisions.
• Self-motivated with proactive problem-solving approach to organizational and delivery challenges.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher, suitable for collaborating with international teams and external partners.
• Familiarity with project management and documentation tools such as Jira, Linear, Notion, or Confluence.
• Experience related to hardware, IoT, or embedded products is advantageous.
• Additional background in Business/System Analysis, QA, or Software Engineering with coordination experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of roadmap tools, process diagrams, or workflow mapping is also a beneficial skill.
