About the Role
Stelfox Tech Recruitment is collaborating with a global media content organization establishing a new AI engineering team in Dublin. This greenfield initiative aims to transition AI-native products from proof of concept to fully launched solutions that create significant commercial value across the larger company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle delivery of sophisticated AI and platform engineering programs.
- Collaborate with engineering leaders to organize and track sprints, release schedules, and manage inter-team dependencies.
- Develop comprehensive delivery roadmaps, detailed plans, and report progress to senior leadership.
- Proactively identify potential risks, necessary trade-offs, and constraints impacting delivery timelines.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination across engineering, product, design, and R&D teams.
- Drive continuous enhancements in delivery methodologies, utilizing tools and agile frameworks.
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure transparency of program status and ownership.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Proven background managing complex technical programs focused on AI, data, or platform engineering.
- Strong comprehension of AI/ML and data science development processes including model experimentation, deployment, and evaluation phases.
- Experience supporting software delivery teams in AI, machine learning, data engineering, or platform contexts.
- Advanced project management capabilities, including sprint and backlog management.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, alongside collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Skilled in translating complex technical information into business-oriented updates for stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic startup or scale-up environments, particularly within new and evolving teams.
- Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related fields.
- Three to four years of experience in technical program or project management roles.
