Job description
Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join their product team based in Dublin. This is a fully remote role for candidates residing in Dublin or the Greater Dublin area, with the expectation to attend occasional strategy meetings or team gatherings at short notice, usually a few times per month, requiring reasonable commuting to the Dublin city office.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the sole Data Scientist within the product team.
- Develop, implement, and maintain machine learning models for predictive analytics.
- Handle end-to-end lifecycle of models including building and deploying into production through data pipelines.
- Collaborate with distributed teams located in the United States and India.
Required Experience and Skills
- 4 to 6 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning engineer, with substantial data science expertise.
- Proficiency in Python programming with solid experience in ML frameworks and libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Strong command of predictive modeling techniques.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Experience working in a high-growth SaaS fintech environment.
