Technical Program Manager I - Hardware

Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager I specializing in Hardware to oversee hardware product programs from initial concept through to shipping. This position integrates program management principles with hardware development expertise, coordinating efforts across engineering disciplines, supply chain, and operations to ensure timely product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee hardware programs spanning mechanical, electrical, firmware, and manufacturing domains.
• Develop and maintain detailed program plans, schedules, and dependency maps.
• Coordinate activities among cross-functional teams and external manufacturing partners.
• Monitor risks, manage issues, and balance trade-offs throughout the program lifecycle.
• Conduct program reviews and manage executive-level communications.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams on component sourcing and production ramp-up planning.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of two years experience in technical program management, preferably focused on hardware.
• Familiarity with hardware development lifecycle phases including EVT, DVT, PVT, and MP.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, and MS Project.
• Strong written communication abilities and stakeholder management expertise.
• Experience collaborating with offshore manufacturing partners and supply chain teams.
