Technical Product Owner

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Agile Product Specialist Advisor / Systems Analyst with over 8 years of experience. The ideal candidate has a foundation in Software Engineering and has transitioned into roles such as Product Management, Systems Analysis, or Business Analysis. This position demands technical acumen combined with deep expertise in Agile methodologies and the healthcare domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze complex business requirements, Epics, Features, and system workflows to devise practical and functional solutions.
• Decompose intricate requirements into manageable Features, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and functional specifications.
• Lead requirement gathering, discovery, and analysis sessions with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, QA teams, and Scrum members to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Identify and develop integration opportunities within existing business functions and system capabilities.
• Review and comprehend API and OpenAPI specifications and associated functionalities.
• Analyze architecture diagrams, data models, system data flows, and integration schematics.
• Navigate development environments and understand application structures along with their technical implementation aspects.
• Document comprehensive business, system, functional, and non-functional requirements and create artifacts to guide development and testing.
• Provide analysis, architectural, and design input to Scrum delivery teams while ensuring solutions adhere to enterprise technology standards.
• Liaise continuously with business and technology teams across all development phases including production deployment.
• Assist teams with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution to maintain project momentum.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on process automation and seamless integration.
• Support Agile delivery throughout the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 8 years in Systems Analysis, Software Engineering, Technical Product Management, Business Analysis, or technical project positions.
• Extensive experience with Agile and Scrum practices.
• Strong grasp of SDLC, application development processes, system integration, and crafting technical requirements.
• Proficiency in analyzing and documenting both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Ability to interpret and work with REST APIs, API integrations, and OpenAPI standards.
• Understanding of application architecture, data modeling, and system interaction flows.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication abilities with effective stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams.
• Deep healthcare domain expertise is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce platform, particularly Sales Cloud and underwriting-related solutions.
• Familiarity with Sales, Underwriting, Quoting, Contracts, and insurance business processes.
• Knowledge of API-based integrations and distributed systems architecture.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or closely related field.
