Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to conceive, design, and align product vision consistent with ADCB's objectives, promoting a customer-centric approach.
• Translate product vision into actionable roadmaps, detailing value streams, key metrics, and project breakdowns (themes, epics, and stories) for effective implementation planning.
• Develop and monitor operational, strategic, and agile performance metrics for squad value streams ensuring compliance.
• Conduct competitive and user research, analyze data and feedback to prioritize digital and technological product development.
• Contribute actively to Platform, Tribe, and Chapter goals to meet delivery targets.
• Maintain and prioritize a backlog of user stories and epics in Jira, identifying input needs and driving squads towards their Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
• Provide coaching and continuous performance feedback to squad members across Chapters and Centres of Excellence, facilitating understanding and adoption of improvements.
• Coordinate with other squads and Platforms to optimize outcomes within a scaled agile framework.
• Engage with users and stakeholders to understand requirements fully and translate them into clear product deliverables, ensuring all parties comprehend the business model and value proposition.
• Serve as the primary liaison between development teams and stakeholders for seamless communication and execution.
• Strictly follow organizational policies, procedures, and operating standards to deliver consistent and high-quality service to customers and stakeholders.
• Lead and motivate the team to adopt and implement change initiatives and projects aligned with the bank's standards.
• Demonstrate ADCB's service promise and uphold its service standards in all customer and internal interactions.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines is mandatory.
• Prior experience as a Technical Product Owner managing digital product delivery while coordinating with internal and external technology teams is required.
• Banking experience is essential, with a preference for knowledge in SME banking, particularly in areas such as onboarding, payments, or lending.
• Proficient in managing both functional and non-functional requirements and technical debt, with a clear understanding of the underlying technologies.
• Be the main contact for execution, overseeing dependencies and end-to-end delivery.
• Possession of certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince2, or ITIL (or equivalents) is necessary.
• Strong collaboration, teamwork, multitasking abilities, and capability to meet deadlines.
• Skills in stakeholder relationship management, planning, prioritization, and numerical analysis.
