About the Role and Business Area
Join Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) as an Executive Manager in Financial Markets Solutions, where your professional contributions and growth are highly valued within a diverse and inclusive environment. The Corporate & Investment Banking Group (CIBG) offers a comprehensive range of corporate banking services, including investment and transaction banking alongside financial market solutions. These services leverage advanced digital platforms and extensive distribution channels, catering to a clientele that spans the UAE and the wider MENA region. Clients include government entities, financial institutions, large and mid-sized corporations, SMEs, and global banking partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee ADCB’s treasury sales desk, managing all investment and risk management products while ensuring compliance with both internal policies and external regulatory frameworks.
- Direct the Treasury Structured Solutions team, handling problem resolution, product structuring, execution, and account management to optimize bank performance and profitability.
- Participate in developing and executing the bank’s treasury product sales and development strategies aimed at maximizing profitability within the designated risk limits.
- Assist in updating and refining the department’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for treasury sales, managing the implementation of action plans to ensure adherence to internal and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to the innovation and customization of treasury products to maintain client focus and market competitiveness.
- Monitor and manage performance against financial, product, customer, and risk objectives, taking corrective measures when necessary to promote profitability and liquidity.
- Supervise price negotiations with the bank’s traders to maintain competitive pricing and enhance profitability.
Candidate Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree (mandatory requirement).
- A minimum of 8 years in progressively senior roles within Banking sales, demonstrating increased responsibility and complexity.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.
- Strong knowledge of banking products.
