About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to join the development of our AI-driven Finance Superapp serving Southeast Asia across multiple financial verticals such as payments, remittances, insurance, wealth management, and trading. This role encompasses full ownership of a product vertical including strategic planning, technical design, implementation, and successful launch. Success requires deep knowledge of both AI capabilities and fundamental financial product requirements like reliability, regulatory compliance, and integration with third-party financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a product vertical from end-to-end, overseeing strategy, feature metrics, roadmap development, prioritization, and delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering to architect APIs, data pipelines, ledger systems, reconciliation processes, error handling, security, and scalability.
• Evaluate and balance trade-offs among product accuracy, performance, cost efficiency, reliability, regulatory adherence, and user experience.
• Incorporate regulatory compliance requirements such as KYC, transaction monitoring, limits enforcement, privacy protocols, and licensing into product design.
• Integrate AI thoughtfully to enhance outcomes, including designing evaluation methods, governance safeguards, human oversight, and failure management.
• Coordinate product launches in the context of external dependencies like regulatory approvals, financial infrastructure, and partnerships.
• Align cross-functional teams including engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance on product goals and launch criteria.

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience managing complex technical products through full lifecycle ownership from concept to production.
• Solid understanding of system architecture principles, API design, database management, workflow orchestration, failure scenarios, and distributed system concepts.
• Proven ability to work closely with engineers including critically evaluating and shaping technical designs.
• Background in regulated financial domains such as payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or trading.
• Exceptional product judgment with the capacity to navigate challenging trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints.
• Hands-on experience with AI or LLM-based products, specifically in implementation, evaluation, and knowing when AI integration is appropriate.

Preferred Extras

• Technical or engineering experience, or a background as a highly technical product manager.
• Track record having built consumer fintech products from the ground up.
• Skill in crafting evaluation frameworks specifically for ML or LLM-powered product features.

The primary working language is English, with strong communication skills essential.
