Role Overview

As the Lead Product Manager for the Trading Platform, you will take full ownership of the product functionalities that underpin the Sportsbook offering. Your primary responsibility is equipping Trading and Sportsbook teams with the necessary tools, data, and controls to deliver a distinctive offering promptly, securely, and at scale. This pivotal role sits at the nexus of Product, Trading, Engineering, Data, and Risk teams, requiring you to transform intricate operational demands into scalable platform solutions that enhance Trading workflows and expand the Sportsbook product capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the Trading Platform strategy and roadmap.
• Manage market and event configurations.
• Design pricing and trading control mechanisms.
• Create tooling for offers and promotions.
• Enable market depth and content services.
• Optimize trading operation workflows.
• Develop risk and exposure management tools.
• Oversee reporting frameworks and decision support systems.
• Handle integration with vendors and third-party trading platforms.
• Make informed build, partnership, or reuse technology decisions.

Expected Accomplishments Within 12 Months

• Establishment of a definitive Trading Platform roadmap.
• Acceleration and increased adaptability for Trading teams.
• Reduction of manual operational workload.
• Facilitation of more comprehensive Sportsbook propositions.
• Enhancement of platform stability and monitoring.
• Definition of clear metrics to evaluate platform performance and value.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Seven or more years of product management experience related to trading, sportsbook, financial markets, pricing, risk, or intricate operational platforms.
• Proven success in managing complex platform products and translating specialist user requirements into scalable solutions.
• Strong technical proficiency with the capability to collaborate effectively with Engineering, Data, and technical teams.
• Experience designing advanced workflows and operational tools.
• Expertise in platform strategy, workflow creation, analytics, operational tooling, and API development.
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder networks and harmonize conflicting priorities.
• Experience handling complex, real-time data systems and integration.
• Utilization of AI technologies to enhance team efficiency, trading insights, automation, and decision-making support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Sportsbook trading, odds setting, managed trading services, financial trading platforms, risk and exposure systems, or real-time data products.
