Technical Lead

Role Summary

We are seeking a Technical Lead to guide technical strategy and execution within a development team. This role balances hands-on coding on critical system components with leadership responsibilities such as setting quality standards, mentoring engineers, and facilitating cross-team collaboration. Key Responsibilities

• Steer the team's technical direction and make architectural decisions.
• Develop code for the most complex or essential system elements.
• Lead design review sessions and provide mentorship to engineering staff.
• Collaborate with product teams on technical scope and trade-off decisions.
• Maintain the technical health of areas including testing, performance, and technical debt.
• Coordinate technical projects spanning multiple teams.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Over six years of experience in software engineering with progressive seniority.
• Deep expertise in the technologies relevant to your team.
• Demonstrated success managing and completing complex technical initiatives.
• Strong written communication skills for creating design documentation and technical strategies.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading design reviews.
• Solid fundamentals in system design.
