Curriculum Developer

Overview

We seek a Curriculum Developer to create and develop educational content across various courses and grade levels. This role merges deep subject knowledge with instructional design expertise to produce usable teaching materials and effective student learning resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop course outlines, scope and sequence documents, and detailed unit plans.
• Author lesson plans, classroom activities, assessment tools, and additional supportive materials.
• Ensure curriculum aligns with recognized educational standards, frameworks, and learning objectives.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and educators to enhance curriculum quality.
• Conduct pilot implementations and adjust curricula based on classroom feedback.
• Manage version control and maintain content management systems for curriculum assets.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in curriculum design or teaching with responsibility for content creation.
• Strong expertise in the specific subject area assigned.
• Knowledge of educational standards such as Common Core, NGSS, IB, AP, or equivalents.
• Excellent writing and editorial abilities.
• Understanding of differentiated instruction approaches and assessment strategy.
• Master's degree in education or a relevant subject is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary based on experience, qualifications, and location, estimated between $65,000 and $105,000 (USD equivalent).
