Overview

This role is a hybrid day shift opportunity for an experienced Technical Lead with 8 to 10 years specializing in JavaScript and React Js. The position focuses on steering complex front end application development, ensuring delivery of high caliber code, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to build scalable digital solutions. These solutions enhance merchandising capabilities and drive successful business outcomes at a global level.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design and development of front end applications using JavaScript and React Js, ensuring responsiveness and accessibility aligned with business objectives and user needs.
• Make informed architectural decisions on web applications by evaluating suitable design patterns and tools to boost scalability, maintainability, and overall performance across various projects and settings.
• Facilitate collaboration among onsite and remote team members through organized development schedules matching day shift hours to maintain steady progress on deliverables.
• Coach the team in contemporary JavaScript methodologies including modular architectures, state management, and asynchronous processing to build robust and efficient interfaces.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold coding standards, security protocols, and performance criteria, while providing constructive feedback to elevate technical quality.
• Manage integration efforts between React Js components and backend APIs by defining clear data exchanges, contracts, and error handling to minimize production issues and ensure reliable feature implementation.
• Collaborate closely with product and merchandising teams to translate business requirements into comprehensive technical specifications, enhancing product assortment visibility, pricing models, and promotional activities.
• Provide accurate effort estimations, assess technical risks, and develop detailed implementation plans to assist project management in scheduling releases and resource allocation.
• Monitor live application performance via analytics, logging, and metrics; identify bottlenecks to drive focused optimizations that enhance response times and user experience.
• Promote secure coding practices within JavaScript and React Js, including input validation, session management, and secure handling of sensitive data, safeguarding customer and company information.
• Drive continuous development workflow enhancements by refining branching strategies, code review procedures, and automated testing pipelines, increasing delivery efficiency without sacrificing quality.
• Document essential technical decisions, design patterns, and component blueprints in clear, reusable formats to facilitate future development and onboarding.
• Partner with QA teams to define and implement comprehensive testing strategies — including unit, component, and integration tests — that reduce defect rates and ensure reliable production deployments.

Required Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of solid experience applying deep knowledge of JavaScript and React Js to build clean, reusable, and thoroughly tested front end solutions for enterprise-scale applications.
• Strong command of modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, responsive design principles, and browser compatibility intricacies to deliver superior user experiences.
• Relevant experience in merchandising-related domains, including product catalog management, pricing workflows, and promotion handling, to design features aligned with retail operations and customer journeys.
• Proven capability to operate efficiently within hybrid work environments, utilizing collaborative tools to ensure smooth communication and coordination among distributed multinational teams.
• Proficiency with version control systems and structured branching workflows to handle parallel feature development ensuring traceability and dependable production releases.
• Knowledge of automated build and deployment pipelines capable of supporting frequent and stable releases of JavaScript and React Js applications, eliminating the need for travel or off-shift coverage.
