The role emphasizes integrating data privacy frameworks and REST API connections with OneTrust, operating within a hybrid work environment based in Riyadh Region. Candidates should have 7 to 10 years of technology delivery experience, particularly in ensuring compliant data management and sustainable digital product development during day shifts without travel obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and execute privacy-aware technical solutions using data privacy foundations and REST API interfaces with OneTrust to safeguard sensitive data across organizational systems.
- Manage end-to-end technical delivery for privacy-focused applications, ensuring seamless alignment among architecture design, development, testing, and deployment stages to fulfill regulatory and internal compliance standards.
- Collaborate across teams to translate complex privacy and consent management demands into scalable system architectures consistent with enterprise and industry standards.
- Create reusable REST API patterns and integration modules that standardize data classification, consent capture, and preference management via OneTrust across diverse products and platforms.
- Evaluate technical designs and code to ensure data flow, logging, and encryption approaches embody privacy by design principles, minimizing risks of unauthorized access or misuse.
- Lead teams in implementing comprehensive error handling, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms around privacy-related services to ensure prompt detection and resolution of issues affecting customer trust and compliance.
- Enhance service performance and dependability for privacy solution components by refining REST API structures, optimizing data models, and fine-tuning configurations to accommodate increasing user and consent data volumes.
- Partner with product owners and privacy experts to define technical acceptance criteria that embed privacy controls within core workflows, ensuring features prioritize user experience and legal compliance.
- Document solution architectures, data pathways, and integration patterns in clear technical records accessible to engineering, operations, and risk management teams.
- Offer technical mentorship on secure coding practices, input validation, and token-based access models supporting strong privacy enforcement across internal and external services.
- Ensure technical strategies align with the organization’s mission to build trustworthy digital experiences that honor customer privacy and promote responsible data use for long-term societal benefit.
- Engage in incident review and root cause analysis related to privacy services, using findings to drive continuous enhancement of design and operations.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing forums to keep teams updated on emerging privacy technologies, industry essentials, and evolving best practices for OneTrust and REST API integrations.
Qualifications
- 7 to 10 years of practical experience in designing and delivering enterprise applications, with minimum 3 years focused on privacy-sensitive or security-critical systems.
- Strong expertise with data privacy concepts such as consent lifecycle, data minimization, retention policies, and privacy impact assessments within technology designs.
- Advanced skills in REST API development and consumption, including authentication frameworks, request validation, and performance tuning for high-load services.
- Hands-on experience implementing OneTrust modules like consent management, preference centers, and data subject request workflows in complex enterprise settings.
- Familiarity with industry essentials domains and the ability to integrate privacy and security controls in real-world business and regulatory contexts.
- Desirable experience working in hybrid environments using collaboration tools and structured communication to coordinate distributed teams.
- Preferable background in integrating privacy platforms with identity providers, marketing systems, or analytics tools to unify consent and preference management.
- Nice to have expertise in automating privacy checks within continuous integration pipelines or quality frameworks to consistently enforce privacy throughout development cycles.
