Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SailPoint Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Engineer to implement, manage, and maintain SailPoint Identity Security solutions. The candidate must be proficient in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), user lifecycle processes, access certifications, role and policy management, application onboarding, and integration with enterprise systems, ensuring secure and compliant identity governance workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and support SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) and/or SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) platforms.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SailPoint environments effectively.
  • Manage and optimize workflows, lifecycle events, policies, and governance processes within SailPoint.
  • Monitor system health, perform troubleshooting, and ensure performance tuning of the platform.
  • Implement Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) processes to automate user account provisioning and deprovisioning.
  • Oversee various access models including birthright, requestable, and privileged access.
  • Support role-based and attribute-based access control implementations.
  • Configure and administer access certifications, periodic access reviews, and related compliance controls including Segregation of Duties (SoD) policies.
  • Assist audit and regulatory compliance efforts by generating reports and ensuring governance standards.
  • Integrate SailPoint with systems such as Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, LDAP, HR platforms (Workday, SuccessFactors), databases, and cloud-based SaaS applications.
  • Develop and maintain connectors and integrations; troubleshoot identity synchronization and provisioning issues.
  • Build custom rules, workflows, forms, and connectors using REST APIs, Web Services, Java, and other technologies.
  • Participate in identity governance system migration and transformation initiatives.

Required Skills and Expertise

  • In-depth knowledge of SailPoint IdentityIQ and Identity Security Cloud solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) principles.
  • Experience with access certification processes, provisioning, deprovisioning, and role management.
  • Familiarity with Segregation of Duties (SoD) and lifecycle management.
  • Solid grasp of IAM fundamentals, RBAC and ABAC models, federation concepts including Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Hands-on experience integrating with Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, LDAP, REST APIs, SCIM, Web Services, and JDBC.
  • Proficient in development using Java, BeanShell scripting, XML, SQL, and preferred knowledge of PowerShell.

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) / Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) technologies.
  • At least 3 years of direct experience with SailPoint implementation and administration.
  • Proven track record in onboarding enterprise applications and configuring provisioning workflows.
  • Experience supporting large-scale identity governance projects and understanding of audit and compliance mandates.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline preferred.
  • Relevant SailPoint certifications such as Certified IdentityIQ Engineer, Certified Identity Security Cloud Engineer, or Architect Certification are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Desirable experience with CyberArk PAM, Saviynt, Okta, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, ServiceNow integration, Azure Logic Apps/Power Automate, SIEM tools (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar), and DevSecOps practices.
