Role Overview

The Technical Inspector position is a full-time, on-site role located in Doha. The role involves conducting comprehensive vehicle inspections to verify adherence to manufacturer specifications, safety protocols, and internal quality standards. Routine duties include executing diagnostic tests, confirming repair and maintenance accuracy, recording inspection details, and compiling informative reports for service advisors, technicians, and management teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with established technical and safety standards.
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations using appropriate tools and technology.
  • Verify and validate completed repair and maintenance works.
  • Document findings thoroughly and communicate results effectively to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with workshop personnel to resolve technical challenges.
  • Contribute to continuous enhancement of service and inspection procedures.
  • Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental protocols.
  • Support uniform application of company-wide quality measures across service centers.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong technical knowledge in automotive inspections, diagnostics, and repair confirmation with practical experience in modern vehicle systems.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical manuals, service bulletins, and manufacturer directives.
  • Capable of preparing clear, detailed inspection reports and communicating technical concepts to non-specialists.
  • Familiarity with safety, quality control, and compliance standards relevant to automotive workshops.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous roles as a technical inspector, workshop controller, senior technician, or equivalent in automotive servicing.
  • Experience with diagnostic equipment, test devices, and computer-based reporting systems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities; able to operate independently and within a team under a dynamic work environment.
  • Dedication to ethical practices, customer-centric service, and continual professional growth.
  • Proficiency in English required; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
