Currently, we are looking for a skilled Technical Director who will serve as a vital link between traditional architecture, real-time visualization, and enterprise data management, spearheading the advancement of expansive Digital Twin environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate architectural designs and large-scale spatial data into real-time, interactive Digital Twin applications, connecting architectural teams with software and rendering processes.
• Lead the development and optimization of real-time 3D interactive environments using platforms like Unreal Engine or Unity, establishing standards for lighting, performance, and optimization for live visualizations.
• Manage spatial data architectures including pipelines for data ingestion, storage solutions, and query systems such as Data Lakes and multi-source spatial databases to ensure smooth integration of BIM metadata into runtime platforms.
• Oversee the management and optimization of complex digital environments containing millions of components, focusing on level-of-detail control, file layering strategies, memory usage, and rendering efficacy.
• Advise architectural, design, and engineering stakeholders to improve workflows, remove technical barriers, and enforce best production practices.
• Implement and oversee project-specific security measures, data access controls, and secure pipeline protocols to maintain compliance in connected Digital Twin ecosystems where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Architecture and Building Information Modeling (BIM), proficient with software such as Revit, IFC, and Navisworks and understanding their workflows and data structures.
• Extensive practical experience with real-time 3D engines, particularly Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5) or Unity, deploying interactive applications.
• Knowledge of Data Lake architectures, enterprise data pipelines, ingestion methods, schema design, and structured/unstructured data querying.
• Experience managing large-scale 3D scenes or complex spatial datasets, including performance optimization of render passes and dynamic data handling.
• Excellent communication skills for technical leadership, with the ability to engage directly with architectural teams and guide technical groups effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on projects under stringent data security, compliance, or confidentiality requirements.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, or Python for scripting, developing engine extensions, or automation tooling.
• Familiarity integrating IoT sensor feeds or live spatial telemetry into 3D Digital Twin models.
