About the Role
Join ASB's Payments Team as a Technical Consultant, where you'll lead the detailed design and set the technical strategy for our Payments Platform. This position is ideal for someone with extensive expertise in Azure cloud services and proven leadership within the Payments domain. Your role will be pivotal in advancing design governance, overseeing cross-platform initiatives, and driving the architecture and security of payment systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design governance to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and robust.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance across platforms to enable innovative design solutions.
- Manage design integration of new technologies and methods within existing systems.
- Exhibit deep knowledge of Azure PaaS services including Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Service Bus.
- Develop and sustain a distributed architecture emphasizing scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Ensure secure processing of confidential data using industry best practices and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with the Information Security team to align security strategies with the Azure environment.
- Optimize squad design and operations within the Payments Platform to enhance delivery efficiency.
- Serve as a payments subject matter expert, offering insights on technologies, trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor team members, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.
- Participate actively in the Payments Advisory Group, influencing strategy and design decisions.
- Foster a positive team culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
