Technical Architect

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Architect to join us in Dubai, UAE, to architect and lead the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. This role demands significant expertise in Java-based architectures, modern frontend frameworks, cloud-native solutions, microservices, and comprehensive enterprise solution design.

Key Responsibilities

• Create enterprise solutions utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Lead architectural designs, technical solution frameworks, and conduct architecture reviews.
• Establish architectural roadmaps, standards, and industry best practices.
• Implement Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) methodologies.
• Guarantee system attributes including scalability, security, performance, and reliability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business units, engineering, DevOps, infrastructure teams, and global stakeholders.
• Support cloud-native architectures, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and platform modernization initiatives.

Mandatory Qualifications and Skills

• Over 15 years of experience in IT/software development.
• At least 5 years dedicated to Technical or Solution Architecture roles.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience implementing DDD, Event-Driven Architectures, distributed systems, and API-first architecture approaches.
• Strong skills in frontend technologies including React, Next.js, and Node.js.
• Database experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB.
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Solace.
• Solid understanding of Cloud environments, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.
• Knowledge of CQRS patterns, observability concepts, security principles, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk and AppDynamics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in the Airlines, Airports, Aviation, or Travel Technology sectors.
• Java and/or Cloud-related professional certifications.
• Background working within large, global, or matrix organizations.

Compensation and Employment Details

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity located in Dubai with a total monthly remuneration of up to AED 20,000, inclusive of all components.
