About the Role

Join the Waimakariri District Council as a Technical Administrator for Water Services on a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Rangiora. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth delivery of essential water services encompassing drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater, which underpin the health and growth of the district.

As the key administrative and systems support member for the Water Services team, you will manage business systems, assist with compliance, and enhance information management processes to improve operational efficiency and service responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and enhance systems, databases, workflows, and automation related to Water Services.
  • Support critical water supply, wastewater, and stormwater service delivery across the district.
  • Conduct investigations and research to back operational and asset management decision-making.
  • Coordinate compliance programs and manage customer communications effectively.
  • Update and refine business processes, procedures, and knowledge resources.
  • Contribute to the creation of customer-centric information and digital content.
  • Collaborate with technical experts while expanding your own knowledge of water service operations.

Candidate Profile

Additional Information
