Step into the dynamic world of Tesco Cafe as a Team Member. This position is a blend of culinary preparation, customer interaction, and maintaining a seamless operational environment. Your day will revolve around crafting quality dishes, engaging warmly with customers, and ensuring all service and hygiene standards are met. Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure kitchenware and equipment remain clean and orderly.
  • Deliver prompt and attentive customer service.
  • Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene protocols, keeping accurate daily logs.
  • Apply the FIFO (first in, first out) system to manage food freshness.
  • Receive deliveries and organize food storage safely.
  • Comply with all operational policies and procedures of the cafe.
  • Prepare, cook, and serve menu items following established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain high food quality and availability standards.
  • Have thorough knowledge of the cafe menu and present dishes correctly.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints, escalating issues to the Café Manager as needed.
  • Stay informed on internal communications and ongoing initiatives.
  • Regularly clean and sanitize customer tables to uphold hygiene standards.
