Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a Team Manager for Sales to lead a high-achieving sales team focused on the Higher Education sector across Indonesia and Singapore. This role involves driving market share, revenue growth, and customer engagement within tertiary education. You will work closely with senior leadership to translate strategy into effective sales plans and build a collaborative, accountable team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow sales team members through hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
  • Create and sustain a results-driven, collaborative team culture emphasizing resilience, problem-solving, and execution.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans targeting revenue growth, market expansion, new client acquisition, renewals, and account coverage.
  • Enhance sales effectiveness by embedding established sales methodologies, strengthening presentation and communication skills, and advancing solution selling.
  • Drive adoption and proficient use of CRM tools like OneCRM to enhance activity tracking, forecasting, and sales performance metrics.
  • Manage territory relationships with universities, faculty, partners, distributors, and key decision-makers.
  • Contribute to market strategy, budgeting, forecasting, product development, and regional initiatives including digital strategies.
  • Provide insights on market trends, policies, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to senior and cross-functional teams.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience leading sales across Southeast Asia, preferably in Higher Education, EdTech, or similar solutions-driven sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop diverse, cross-cultural sales teams.
  • Skilled in creating strategic territory plans and using data to drive revenue and KPI achievement.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms such as Salesforce or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and relationship-building skills, plus solution selling expertise.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and engage directly with field customers.
  • Tertiary education qualification preferred.

Additional Information

This is a full-time onsite position based in Singapore with responsibilities spanning Indonesia and Singapore territories. The role reports to the Director of Higher Education and engages extensively with senior and cross-functional stakeholders.
