Team Leader

Role Overview

At Poundland, the Team Leader position involves supporting the Store and Assistant Managers by leading the team and ensuring customers have an outstanding shopping experience daily. You will foster a welcoming environment that encourages excellent customer service and supports colleagues as they perform their roles effectively.

Key Duties

Your responsibilities include managing deliveries, overseeing merchandising, and supporting the store's daily operations. You’ll maintain high standards both on the sales floor and in the warehouse. Leading a team in a dynamic retail environment, your role will require energizing the team, supporting store performance, and ensuring smooth everyday functioning.

Candidate Profile

We seek individuals with retail experience and preferably some leadership background, although it is not mandatory. Essential qualities include enthusiasm, strong organizational skills, and a passion for customer service and people. Leadership by example and supporting team development are core to this role.
