Team Lead - MIS

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead for our MIS department at Cognizant, based in Chennai, India. This role involves leading a team of MIS specialists to provide top-tier business intelligence reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions to meet business needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate a team of MIS professionals ensuring the delivery of high-quality BI reports, interactive dashboards, and analytics tools.
• Create and sustain sophisticated data models using advanced Excel features including pivot tables, macros, and VBA programming.
• Develop and execute strategic reporting methodologies tailored to client requirements and expectations.
• Work closely with various departments to understand business challenges and develop custom analytical solutions.
• Guarantee project deadlines are met while upholding established quality benchmarks.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Possess between 4 to 7 years of professional experience with a strong focus on tools such as Advanced Excel and dashboard development.
• Have a solid grasp of Business Intelligence tools like QlikView and demonstrate the capability to operate across multiple BI platforms concurrently.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills that enable the translation of complex technical information into accessible and well-documented presentations for non-technical audiences.
