Role Overview

Noble Horizon is launching Art of Cardz (AOC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a specialized retail concept focused on Trading Card Games (TCG), collectibles, and related hobbies. This venture combines retail, e-commerce, graded collectibles, product releases, organized play, and community engagement, establishing a premier destination for collectors and enthusiasts.

The TCG Store Manager will oversee the store's commercial results, operations, inventory control, and community relations, ensuring excellent service for players, collectors, and customers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Meet daily, monthly, and yearly sales and profit goals for the store, actively monitoring sales metrics including foot traffic, conversion rates, and product performance.
  • Boost revenue by recommending products, bundling, managing memberships, pre-orders, promotions, and cross-selling strategies aligned with player and collector trends.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of various TCG brands such as Pokémon, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, and sports cards, including understanding product releases, market demand, grading standards, and authenticity verification.
  • Ensure high-value sealed products, individual cards, and graded collectibles are appropriately priced, stored, displayed, and handled.
  • Lead daily operations including store opening/closing, staffing, cash management, cleanliness, security, and compliance with health and safety and mall regulations.
  • Manage staffing schedules to provide adequate coverage during busy periods including weekends, tournaments, and product launches.
  • Lead and mentor sales associates through briefings, training, recruitment, performance evaluations, and addressing behavioral or performance issues collaboratively with HR.
  • Collaborate with community and event teams to support tournaments, leagues, product launches, and other organized play to foster a strong customer community.
  • Create a welcoming environment offering knowledgeable guidance tailored to new and experienced players, families, and collectors with prompt issue resolution.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and prevent losses by overseeing stock counts, secure handling of valuable items, and reporting discrepancies or suspicious activity.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Retail Management, Operations, or a related field.
  • At least five years of retail experience, with a minimum of three years in a supervisory or store management role.
  • Minimum two years of relevant experience or considerable knowledge in TCG, collectibles, gaming, hobby, or specialty retail sectors.
  • Proven track record managing sales targets, staff, inventory, cash controls, and providing customer service excellence.
  • Familiarity with major TCG brands, product launches, grading, card conditions, and market trends is essential.
  • Experience organizing tournaments, product launches, or managing player communities is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership ability, commercial insight, organizational skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Willingness to work during weekends, holidays, tournaments, and major product release dates.
  • Proficient in English communication; Arabic language skills are beneficial.
