About the Role
Join Parker Connect as a Tax Specialist based in Dubai, responsible for supporting comprehensive global tax operations by integrating Pillar 2 compliance, Transfer Pricing management, tax technology administration, automation initiatives, and effective tax data governance. This role acts as the primary liaison among Tax, Finance, IT, local finance teams, external consultants, and software vendors to ensure streamlined, compliant, and technologically enhanced tax functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with GloBE Information Returns (GIR), DMTT computations, filing processes, notifications, and Safe Harbour evaluations.
- Oversee the global collection, validation, reporting, and documentation of tax-related data.
- Stay updated on Pillar 2 regulatory developments and coordinate with external advisors.
- Manage Transfer Pricing documentation including Master and Local Files, as well as administration of Reptune software.
- Support operational Transfer Pricing calculations, implementation of related policies, benchmarking exercises, and compliance oversight.
- Maintain Transfer Pricing repositories, track audits, manage filing schedules, and govern intercompany agreements.
- Administer and optimize tax technology platforms such as Orbitax, OTP, Reptune, and others.
- Facilitate system implementations, including user acceptance testing, system integrations, and release management activities.
- Lead initiatives for automation, AI integration, dashboard creation, workflow digitization, and process standardization.
- Ensure data quality and governance in tax reporting and manage centralized tax data systems.
- Coordinate cross-departmental projects involving Tax, Finance, IT, and external partners.
- Monitor deliverable timelines, support training efforts, and foster ongoing improvements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Certified Accountant credentials such as CA, ACCA, or an equivalent Master’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
- Between five and ten years of professional experience focused on International Tax, Pillar 2 frameworks, Transfer Pricing, Tax Technology, or Tax Reporting.
- Deep knowledge of OECD Pillar 2 regulations, Domestic Minimum Top-up Tax (DMTT), Transfer Pricing principles, and multinational tax practices.
- Hands-on experience with tax technology systems, ERP software like SAP, automation tools, and data analysis methodologies.
- Excellent project management skills alongside effective stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
- Proficient in English, with preference for candidates who have worked within Big Four firms or multinational environments.
