Overview
This full-time opportunity is based in Perth, Western Australia, with flexibility across PwC offices in Australia. PwC Australia's Tax division is dedicated to delivering not only technically accurate but strategically tailored tax advice, ensuring effective implementation amidst a complex tax landscape.
Your Role
- Act as a trusted tax advisor understanding unique client needs.
- Support prominent Australian clients, particularly in financial services, through the evolving tax environment.
- Manage portfolios and maintain strong relationships across various sectors while liaising with tax authorities.
- Contribute to complex strategic tax projects spanning Corporate, Global, Tax Controversy, US tax advisory, GST, Real Estate, and Infrastructure.
- Guide clients in managing Australian tax responsibilities considering their specific circumstances.
- Collaborate with teams to address intricate technical tax issues within client timelines.
- Leverage technology to improve client compliance procedures and enhance tax business operations.
- Embrace innovation and drive solutions in a dynamic tax environment.
- Demonstrate interest in technology and understand automation advantages.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Postgraduate qualifications such as MBA or Master's are highly valued.
- Proven experience in tax advisory and compliance within a Big 4, mid-tier firm, or law firm.
- Strong familiarity with Australian Tax with exposure to international markets.
- Experience utilizing data analytics to derive business insights.
- Capability to assist clients with regulatory reviews, investigations, and disclosures.
- Detail-oriented with excellent research and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, verbal communication, business writing, and Excel skills.
- Ability to thrive in an innovative, teamwork-driven environment.
- Demonstrated integrity and care towards colleagues and clients.

Additional Information
The minimum salary for a Senior Associate in this role is AUD 89,000 including superannuation, with potential for higher salaries reflecting position grade.
