Role Overview
The Tax Partner plays a pivotal leadership role, tasked with steering the strategic vision, growth, and operational success of the accountancy practice in Watford. This position centers on expanding revenue streams, enhancing profitability, delivering exceptional client outcomes, and championing the firm’s values within the practice. The Partner also ensures that high standards of compliance, innovation, and team leadership are upheld.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Hub Managing Partner in executing Xeinadin’s strategic vision, values, and goals.
- Provide strategic leadership to the Watford office aligning with wider organizational aims.
- Exemplify professionalism, integrity, and commitment throughout leadership activities.
- Develop and nurture high-performing, collaborative teams motivated to excel.
- Manage and expand a diverse and substantial client portfolio, maintaining strong partnerships.
- Promote the firm's products and services actively to attract new business engagements.
- Apply industry insight to offer innovative, client-focused solutions.
- Conduct final reviews on complex client files ensuring quality and value delivery.
- Oversee financial performance targets and recovery rates within the office.
- Set, monitor, and enforce billing and revenue objectives.
- Implement cutting-edge financial management practices leveraging technology.
- Contribute to financial operations that optimize efficiency and profitability.
- Maintain technical compliance, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines.
- Share best practices within the Hub and broader group to elevate standards and reduce risks.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant legal, ethical, and statutory standards.
- Lead initiatives to boost operational efficiency and continuous improvement efforts.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a skilled senior team, fostering career growth and excellence.
- Promote an inclusive, supportive, and motivating environment for team engagement.
- Encourage transparent communication between staff and leadership.
- Demonstrate expertise in accounting, tax, and compliance to provide superior client advice.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to maintain professional forefront status.
- Advise clients on intricate corporate and individual tax issues.
- Develop client relationships for existing and new accounts.
- Monitor Work In Progress reports and collaborate with partners to drive efficiency.
- Lead and coordinate the Watford tax team’s development and collaborate with regional tax teams across the UK.
Requirements
- Professional tax qualification (CTA preferred but not mandatory).
- Proven leadership capability with vision to foster business expansion.
- Strong understanding of market conditions, client challenges, and business dynamics.
- Experience in cultivating robust client relationships and delivering bespoke solutions.
- Analytical skills to solve complex business problems effectively.
- Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and deliver results within deadlines.

Additional Information
Work model: Hybrid arrangement.
Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
