About the Company
A well-established and expanding professional services firm located in Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland, renowned throughout the country for providing wide-ranging audit, tax, accounting, and advisory services.
Role Overview
We are looking to appoint an experienced Tax Manager who will lead and manage the tax team, oversee a diverse client portfolio spanning various industry sectors, and be responsible for preparation and review of corporate tax, income tax, and VAT compliance. This role also involves participating in tax advisory projects and acting as the primary liaison for clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead the tax team to ensure smooth operation and high-quality output.
- Manage and maintain relationships with a portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.
- Prepare, review, and supervise corporate tax, income tax, and VAT compliance submissions.
- Participate actively in tax advisory engagements, providing expert advice.
- Build and sustain strong, ongoing client relationships serving as their main contact.
Candidate Profile
- ACA, CTA, ATT, or ACCA qualifications with significant tax expertise.
- Minimum of three years' experience working within an accountancy practice environment.
- Prior experience in an assistant manager or manager capacity is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a comprehensive client portfolio effectively.
- Excellent communication abilities with strong client-facing skills.
