About the Role
We are seeking a Tax Manager to join a distinguished specialist Irish Tax firm located in central Dublin. The firm boasts a team of over 40 tax professionals and is known for its strong work-life balance and an engaging Irish client portfolio. This position involves a hybrid working model, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office.
The role primarily focuses on advisory services, working with high-profile business leaders, high net-worth individuals (HNWI), and their companies. You will collaborate with Tax Directors and Partners, initially stepping in as a Tax Manager with the opportunity to progress to Senior Manager within approximately 9 to 12 months, depending on your capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advisory and compliance services covering Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Capital Acquisitions Tax (CAT), Corporation Tax, and VAT.
- Offer support in areas beyond your immediate specialty as needed.
- Work closely with Partners and Directors to deepen your tax knowledge and professional expertise.
- Engage with clients regularly, delivering high-quality tax advice and assistance.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified ACA or ACCA professional with Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification.
- Experience gained preferably from a Top 10 or Top 20 accounting firm.
- Strong enthusiasm for Irish Taxation and a genuine desire to assist clients with expert advice.
- Motivated to build and expand your expertise in tax over the long term.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary ranging from 374,000 to 384,000 annually.
- Bonus scheme available.
- Salary review scheduled within 6 months of starting.
