Job description
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding Irish tax and advisory firm based in central Dublin. As a Tax Assistant Manager, you will receive extensive exposure to a range of tax advisory services specifically catering to high-net-worth individuals, business owners, family wealth management, and professional practices. The role offers a clear progression path to Manager within approximately 9 to 12 months, supporting your professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advisory services related to transaction taxes, Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Capital Acquisitions Tax (CAT), estate planning, issues concerning entering and leaving Ireland, investment taxes, and handling Revenue enquiries.
- Manage assignments independently from start to finish, including planning work, drafting advisory memoranda with comprehensive reasoning, supervising junior team members, and presenting final outputs to Directors and Partners.
- Collaborate closely with Tax Partners and Directors, working on complex and noteworthy clients primarily composed of successful entrepreneurs, families, and professional service firms.
Candidate Profile
- Holds CTA qualification with a commendable academic background.
- Recently qualified or currently a tax senior with up to two years of Irish tax post-qualification experience.
- Experience gained ideally at an Irish Top 10 or Top 20 firm, specialist boutique tax firm, or a Big 4 organization as an Assistant Manager looking for broader client exposure and accelerated partnership opportunity.
- Demonstrates a genuine interest in diverse advisory areas across multiple tax domains rather than a narrow specialization.
- Ready and enthusiastic to lead juniors on projects and keen on achieving promotion to Manager promptly within a year.
Additional Information

- Work Arrangement: Hybrid model with 2 to 3 days working from home per week, if desired.
- Compensation: Base salary range €64,000 to €74,000 plus bonus and strong Continuing Professional Development (CPD) support to facilitate progression to Manager.
