Position Overview
We are seeking motivated, detail-focused fresher US Tax Associates to join our expanding team. This entry-level opportunity is designed for recent graduates eager to gain practical experience in US tax compliance, obtaining a robust understanding of federal and state taxation while collaborating closely with seasoned tax professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support preparation of US Federal and State tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
- Gather, organize, and review necessary client data and tax documentation.
- Prepare working papers and maintain appropriate documentation for tax submissions.
- Conduct elementary tax research under supervision and apply relevant US tax regulations.
- Utilize tax software and internal systems accurately for tax processing.
- Adhere to deadlines while upholding the firm's quality standards.
- Engage collaboratively with team members to address data inconsistencies and client inquiries.
- Exhibit adaptability and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
- Align working hours with US time zones, including availability during late evenings and weekends due to the global nature of the role.
- Demonstrate flexibility to extend work hours during peak periods to effectively coordinate with US teams and meet client deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
- Fundamental knowledge of US taxation principles, preferably through academic study or training.
- Strong analytical capabilities with keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with MS Excel and basic accounting concepts.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Credentials
- Currently pursuing EA (Enrolled Agent) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification.

Minimum education
