Role Overview

The Task Associate plays a vital role in supporting operational excellence to drive sales and deliver an outstanding shopping experience for customers. By ensuring that store fixtures are stocked, cleanliness is maintained, and assigned tasks are completed, the associate supports Merchandise and Operations Managers in achieving company performance, people, and process goals. Attention to detail and adherence to procedures are crucial for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help achieve or surpass the store's retail goals by executing all tasks diligently and ensuring product availability for purchase.
  • Meet compliance and execution benchmarks by completing operational activities such as shipment processing, replenishment, merchandise arrangements, and inventory management on time.
  • Maintain consistent and punctual attendance throughout employment.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for teammates, peers, and customers alike.
  • Engage regularly in training programs covering brand knowledge and product categories to support ongoing professional growth and boost sales effectiveness.
  • Understand and strictly follow Ulta Beauty's policies, procedures, and standards, including dress code compliance.
  • Perform merchandise resets, planogram setups, marketing displays, inventory counts, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
  • Maintain assigned work areas by replenishing stock, organizing signage, facing products, and ensuring testers are accessible.
  • Uphold excellent store standards by keeping retail floors, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break areas clean and organized.
  • Protect company assets by adhering to loss prevention procedures and delivering excellent guest service.
  • Complete additional operational duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • One year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency with technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holiday shifts.

Working Conditions

  • Frequent movement throughout the store during shifts including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds regularly.
  • Continuous coordination and handling of objects during work hours.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range for this position is $16 to $20, based on factors such as education, experience, certifications, shift, and location. Overtime pay is available as per applicable law. Full-time employees are eligible for paid time off and comprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits. Part-time employees qualify for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
