Role Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist role at Ingram Micro emphasizes innovation in recruitment practices. Beyond conventional hiring, this position focuses on cultivating talent communities, delivering outstanding candidate experiences, proactively engaging top talent in advance, and employing data and market insights to enhance hiring success. The role requires collaboration with leaders across New Zealand and APAC, driving strategic recruitment and sourcing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire recruitment process for a variety of roles.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to assess workforce needs and design recruitment strategies.
- Establish and maintain talent pipelines ensuring readiness for current and future vacancies.
- Actively source passive candidates utilizing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms.
- Ensure candidates enjoy a recruitment experience that aligns with company values and enhances employer branding.
- Use recruitment data analytics to inform decisions and optimize outcomes.
- Lead employer branding projects to attract top talent and elevate market presence.
- Conduct talent market mapping and intelligence to identify key candidate pools.
- Maintain recruitment procedures that are consistent, inclusive, and compliant.
- Work with global Talent Acquisition teams to share insights and participate in strategic projects.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in full-cycle talent acquisition, from either corporate or agency settings.
- Strong skills in sourcing and headhunting across diverse talent segments.
- Experience in building pipelines and engaging passive candidates.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and advisory capabilities.
- Analytical approach with experience using recruitment metrics for improved hiring.
- Familiarity with recruitment platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and Workday Recruiting.
- Well-developed organizational skills to handle multiple roles at a time.
- Commitment to enhancing candidate experience, promoting diversity, and continuous process improvement.
