My Own Mind Tutoring is an expanding educational service dedicated to inclusive learning and supporting neurodivergent students. We are passionate about educational psychology and fostering growth in learners with diverse needs.

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate tutor to assist a primary-school student in mathematics. Additionally, candidates will join a standby list for upcoming referrals, covering students from Reception to Year 12 across various subjects based on personal strengths, including Math, English, Science, HASS, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored academic support focusing on mathematics and other subjects aligned with tutor's expertise.
• Assist students in developing executive functioning capabilities such as organisation, planning, and study routines.
• Prepare students for exams and nurture academic confidence and self-advocacy skills.
• Engage in structured mentoring sessions and implement practical support strategies specific to neurodivergent learners.

Candidate Profile and Training

This role suits individuals currently studying psychology or those with an interest in educational psychology and neurodiversity. A foundational understanding of neurodiversity is expected, and comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to equip tutors with specialized strategies and neurodiversity-affirming practices.
