Role Overview

Imagine students completing an entire day's academic work in just two focused hours and then engaging in creative activities like podcasting, mural painting, or gymnastics. You will be the strategist ensuring this 2-Hour Learning system powered by Alpha Anywhere operates seamlessly and evolves towards future improvements.

Operating remotely from any location with reliable internet, you'll convert extensive AI-generated educational data into precise and timely interventions to help each learner achieve mastery levels above 90%. When students encounter difficulties, you'll conduct live coaching sessions to quickly resolve issues, restoring their motivation and confidence. You'll also analyze deep learning data streams to identify patterns that maximize each child's potential and guide the creation of innovative AI solutions that can potentially double their learning speed.

The impact is visible: students gain confidence, accelerate learning velocity, and you will directly influence this transformation through your insights, AI workflows, and effective questioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate accurate Academic Data Reports and analyze them systematically to detect issues, flag anomalies, and initiate solutions within 48 hours
• Host swift-response coaching sessions and follow-up evaluations to overcome learning obstacles, distinguish between knowledge gaps and errors, and maintain student motivation
• Assess and integrate new educational apps and content while prototyping AI and large language model tools to improve learning methods and address specific challenges
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance educational tools, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks as the AI tutor evolves

Exclusions

• No involvement in lengthy meetings or preparing generic presentations disconnected from actual outcomes
• Not responsible for grading assignments, creating lesson plans, or managing conventional educational programs—our focus is innovation and AI-driven learning
• This role excludes high-level strategic work without hands-on implementation; expect dynamic and engaged daily activities

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in coaching, training, or instructional roles
• At least one year of repeated direct support for K-8 students via individualized or small group academic coaching focused on habits, motivation, self-direction, test strategies, or executive function routines (whole-class teaching alone is insufficient)
• At least one year combining practical data analysis with direct learner support
• Proficient at least one year using Google Sheets or Excel for data tasks including lookups, filters, pivot tables, and charts
• At least six months leveraging AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot professionally to achieve concrete outcomes beyond simple writing edits or casual searches
• Availability to work four core hours daily (Monday to Friday) from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM U.S. time

Desired Skills

• Background in learning science or educational theory, with proven results driving improved learner outcomes through data-driven approaches
• Experience handling generative AI, prompt engineering, and familiarity with programming languages such as Python or JavaScript for querying AI APIs

Additional Employment Details

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week with long-term commitment. It operates under an independent contractor agreement as a Contractor of Record with Crossover. Compensation is $30 USD/hour, totaling approximately $60,000 USD per year based on 50 working weeks annually. Payment is issued weekly. The position is available immediately.
