Job description
Job Overview
The tailor will be responsible for precise garment measurements and tailoring blouse designs meeting customer preferences. The role requires skilled cutting and stitching of various blouse styles, including simple, lining, princess cut, boat neck, and designer patterns. Additionally, the tailor will perform saree fall, pico, and finishings as well as manage alterations and fitting adjustments.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately measure customers and interpret their design needs.
- Cut and produce blouses in multiple styles as specified.
- Execute saree fall, pico work, and finishing touches professionally.
- Handle garment alterations and correct fittings effectively.
- Ensure orders are completed within deadlines, especially during peak festival and wedding periods.
- Maintain comprehensive stitching records and ensure the work area and stitching machines are kept clean and well-organised.
Compensation
The salary ranges between 45000 and 55000 INR per month.
