Role Overview
This position is a full-time, onsite Tailor role located in Dubai. The ideal candidate will handle client measurements, conduct garment fittings, and make necessary alterations to ensure precise fits in accordance with the brand's standards. Daily responsibilities include tailoring and dressmaking across various high-end fashion products, performing repairs and bespoke adjustments with meticulous attention to quality. Collaboration with store personnel is essential to address customer requirements, maintain an orderly workspace, and ensure timely completion of tailoring tasks that support retail operations.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Exceptional expertise in tailoring and dressmaking, particularly in adjusting and constructing garments for luxury brands.
- Skilled in taking accurate body measurements and making precise garment fittings to achieve excellent fit.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities to engage professionally with clients and retail teams.
- High attention to detail and manual dexterity, capable of working with delicate fabrics and intricate designs.
- Previous experience working as a tailor within retail or fashion settings, ideally with premium or luxury fashion houses.
- Willingness and capability to work onsite in Dubai, handling multiple tailoring assignments while adhering to deadlines.
- Basic understanding of garment care, different fabric types, and maintenance of sewing machinery.
