Role Overview

We seek a full-time, on-site Tailor/Dressmaker based in Doha. This position involves designing, cutting, sewing, and finishing custom garments with accuracy in measurements and premium build quality. Core duties include measuring clients, conducting fittings, performing garment alterations, and advising clients on fabric choices, styling, and garment maintenance. The role requires teamwork, maintaining an organized workspace, and adhering to production deadlines. Delivering clear communication and professional service to support an outstanding client experience is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven expertise in tailoring and dressmaking, covering cutting, sewing, and garment assembly.
• Experience in fittings and garment adjustments to ensure precise measurements and comfortable, balanced clothing.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Keen attention to detail and manual dexterity, with the ability to work on diverse fabrics and techniques.
• Previous work experience in a boutique, atelier, or similar fashion environment is advantageous.
• Time management skills to follow design briefs accurately and meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of pattern creation and proficiency with sewing machines and related tools.
