Overview
Join a leading security services provider as a Tactical Security Guard based in Brantford, Ontario. This role demands vigilance, quick judgment, and excellent interpersonal skills to protect environments such as government buildings and other critical facilities. Emphasis is on physical endurance for patrolling and ensuring safety during your shifts.
Work Details
- Work location: Government Complex, Brantford, Ontario (postal code L4L 0L6)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Pay rate: $20.60 per hour

Key Duties
- Conduct patrols of key areas to detect suspicious activities
- Verify identities and regulate access to secure zones
- Respond swiftly to threats and incidents; maintain thorough documentation
- Ensure alarms and surveillance equipment are functional
- Perform on-site alarm investigations
- Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations
- Engage with vulnerable community groups for outreach
- Enforce property trespassing laws
Candidate Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
- Possession of a valid security license
- Certification in first aid
- Minimum of one year experience in security roles
- Physical ability to stand and walk during entire shifts
- Capability to successfully complete advanced use of force training
- Familiarity with Trespass to Property Act and arrest authority
