Site Patrol Security Guard

This full-time on-site role involves safeguarding an industrial environment through scheduled foot and mobile patrols, delivering excellent customer service, and performing desk duties. The position requires building trust and confidence with those you interact with while maintaining a secure site.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify identities, and guide them appropriately.
• Conduct mobile and foot patrols using the G-Track device to ensure safety.
• Collaborate closely with team members and report to the onsite supervisor.
• Escort visitors and provide passes for authorized areas.
• Ensure all doors are securely closed and lights are off in unoccupied areas.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment consistently.
• Respond actively to emergencies including EMS assistance, fire watch duties, and incidents involving pressurized systems or chemical spills.
• Follow procedures for employees working alone.
• Perform desk-related responsibilities as required.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by clients, company management, or Security Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in Canada is mandatory.
• Possession of a valid Saskatchewan Security Certificate.
• Strong customer service skills to engage effectively with visitors and staff.
• Competency with phone operations and basic computer skills.
• A full valid Saskatchewan driving license with a clean driving abstract.
• Between 1 to 3 years of relevant security experience.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay rate of $16.24.

• Permanent Monday to Friday schedule from 1:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
