Job description
About the Role
The Internal Security Department (ISD) has been safeguarding Singapore's internal security and stability for over 75 years by addressing threats such as foreign subversion, espionage, racial and religious extremism, and terrorism. This role offers a meaningful and impactful career contributing to Singapore's safety and sovereignty.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with vendors to support and upkeep security, IT, and communication systems.
- Assess current system vulnerabilities or limitations and execute periodic technology refreshes.
- Coordinate with facility management teams during scheduled power shutdown activities.
- Deliver training sessions on correct usage and operation of security systems.
Candidate Profile
- Possess at least a Diploma or comparable qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related disciplines.
- Previous relevant experience is advantageous but not compulsory.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in IT and security system technologies.
- Exhibit strong analytical capabilities.
- Communicate effectively and work well in interpersonal contexts.
- Applicants must be Singapore citizens.
