Information Management Executive

About the Role

The Internal Security Department (ISD) focuses on safeguarding Singapore's internal security and stability by countering threats such as foreign subversive activities, espionage, racial and religious extremism, and terrorism. Founded over 75 years ago, ISD plays a crucial role in maintaining peace and sovereignty for all Singaporeans. As an Information Management Executive, you will manage the department's information systems and repositories to support precise and strategic decision-making aligned with ISD's mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve comprehensive information management systems, repositories, and records management processes to ensure authorized users have access to accurate data.
• Develop and enforce strategies, policies, and measures to preserve the confidentiality and integrity of information within these systems and repositories.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to utilize AI, data analytics, and ICT tools to design sustainable, user-focused solutions, track results, and refine policies for enhanced system utilization.
• Drive process improvements by evaluating current business workflows, identifying challenges, and recommending automation or optimization initiatives using AI technologies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a degree in any field or equivalent competencies.
• Open to candidates without prior work experience.
• Capability to analyze data to recognize significant policy issues and focus areas.
• Strong analytical thinking emphasizing problem-solving and process enhancement.
• Experience or aptitude in requirements gathering, process mapping, and use case development is a plus.
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within teams.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage and secure support from various stakeholders.
