Role Responsibilities
- Manage the complete procurement cycle from needs identification to purchase order issuance and sourcing materials and services.
- Ensure timely delivery of procured items to various project sites.
- Evaluate and select suppliers, compare quotations, and assist with contract negotiations.
- Maintain meticulous procurement documentation following company policies and applicable regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineering personnel, and finance teams to control costs and monitor vendor performance.
- Keep track of market developments and update the approved vendor list accordingly.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts regarding procurement procedures and internal controls.
Candidate Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in procurement operations, including purchase order management and documentation control.
- Experienced in assessing suppliers, monitoring their performance, and ensuring compliance with standards.
- Skilled in contract negotiations and capable of analytical decision-making to achieve advantageous terms.
- Prior background in procurement within construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects, particularly in Saudi Arabia or the GCC, is advantageous.
- Educational background preferably includes a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Familiarity with ERP or procurement software, Microsoft Office suite, and fundamental commercial contract concepts is beneficial.
- Strong communication, organizational abilities, and stakeholder management capabilities; comfortable working in a dynamic, project-focused setting.
