Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer specializing in Aircraft Environmental Control Systems (ECS) to join our team in Bangalore. The position involves the design, development, testing, and validation of ECS for aerospace applications, ensuring compliance with relevant aerospace standards and integrating software and hardware components effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Environmental Control Systems for aircraft using MATLAB/Simulink tools.
- Create and execute system test cases and procedures to support system integration.
- Conduct system verification and validation activities for aerospace systems.
- Engage in software and hardware integration along with system-level testing processes.
- Manage system requirements leveraging DOORS/DOORS NG and perform scripting with DXL.
- Adhere to aerospace industry standards including DO-178B/C, ARP4754, and ARP4761.
- Work with aircraft systems such as Air Supply, Cabin Pressure Control, and Nitrogen Generation.
- Participate actively in Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR) meetings.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree holder in any discipline.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in aerospace systems engineering with a focus on ECS.
- Proven expertise in MATLAB/Simulink for ECS system design and testing.
- Hands-on experience with system verification and validation techniques.
- Familiarity with DOORS/DOORS NG tools for requirements management and DXL scripting.
- Knowledge and application of aerospace standards such as DO-178B/C, ARP4754, and ARP4761.
- Programming or scripting proficiency in at least two languages among Python, C, Java, or Perl.
Work Conditions
- Location: Bangalore
- Work Mode: Five days per week, working from office.
- Interview Process: Face-to-face second round interview.
