System Administrator (Pakistani National)

Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned System Administrator who will be responsible for managing and maintaining extensive enterprise infrastructure encompassing over a thousand Windows and Linux servers. This role requires expertise in server management, patch deployment, vulnerability remediation, security enhancements, backup operations, storage management, virtualization, and automation within a round-the-clock production environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers operating in production settings.
• Execute operating system and third-party software updates, ensuring adherence to SLA guidelines.
• Address security vulnerabilities and enforce server hardening practices.
• Oversee virtualization platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix.
• Manage backup and recovery processes using Veeam and Commvault.
• Administer storage solutions such as SAN/NAS, VMAX, PowerStore, and LVM.
• Support services like Active Directory, DNS, and Exchange at the OS level.
• Handle OS administration across cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Manage firewall solutions from Fortinet and Sangfor.
• Automate patch management and system provisioning via Ansible and Shell scripting.
• Utilize monitoring tools such as Splunk, Zabbix, QRadar, Nexpose, and ManageEngine for infrastructure oversight.
• Perform incident handling, root cause analysis, change management, and comply with audit protocols.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux versions 7, 8, and 9, and Windows Server editions 2016, 2019, 2022, and anticipated 2025.
• Proficiency in Active Directory and DNS management.
• Expertise in virtualization technologies including VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix.
• Knowledge of backup software solutions such as Veeam and Commvault.
• Familiarity with storage infrastructure including SAN, NAS, VMAX, and PowerStore.
• Ability to work with Fortinet and Sangfor firewall platforms.
• Skills in automation using Ansible and Shell/Bash scripting.
• Competence in vulnerability management and enforcing server security hardening.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Zabbix, QRadar, and Nexpose.
• Demonstrated capability in troubleshooting and supporting 24/7 production environments.
